Інформація
Про локацію
Proskurivska is the main street of Khmelnytskyi, running from Soborna Street to the railway station; its section between Soborna and Volodymyrska is pedestrian. The street's layout goes back to the general plan for Proskuriv drawn up after the great fire of 1822, when the road to Letychiv was named Oleksandrivska. In the second half of the 19th century it became the central street, was renamed several times in the Soviet era, and in 1991 got its current name after the city's historical name. Buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries survive here, alongside museums, the puppet theatre, shops and eateries, and in the evenings the pedestrian section becomes a favourite place for strolls.
