Про локацію
The Khmelnytskyi Regional Literary Museum occupies a cosy one-storey house built in 1905 in the very centre of the city, opposite Taras Shevchenko Square. It opened on 27 August 1993, when Khmelnytskyi was celebrating its 500th anniversary. The exhibition tells the story of the region's literary life from ancient times to the present: separate displays are devoted to Taras Shevchenko, Lesya Ukrainka and Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky, as well as to Podillia writers and authors of various cultures whose lives were connected with the region. The museum is also a cultural and educational hub hosting literary evenings, book presentations and meetings with authors.
