Про локацію
The Palace of Culture is the main architectural landmark of Zhovti Vody and the heart of the city's cultural life. It was built in 1955–1957 to a design by architect O. M. Aleksandrov, with support from the Eastern Mining and Processing Plant. Its monumental neoclassical facade, with an eight-column portico, a pediment and the statue of a woman holding a palm branch as a symbol of peace, faces Myru Square and Glory Park. The interior keeps its rich decoration: colonnades, massive chandeliers and a mosaic window. The main hall seats about 700 and has an orchestra pit. There are also the Small and Mirror halls. Dozens of clubs and folk ensembles work here, and the building hosts concerts, performances and city celebrations. It has been a local architectural monument since 1985.
