Про локацію
Glory Park is the central park of Zhovti Vody. It was laid out in the 1950s, when the Palace of Culture was built. Shady avenues of birches, spruces and broadleaf trees lead to the city's main memorial sites. These are the monument to the heroes of the 1648–1654 Liberation War on a green mound, the WWII memorial with its Eternal Flame, and memorial signs to the victims of the Holodomor and the heroes of Chornobyl. The park's centrepiece is a fountain, a favourite place for locals to relax. Concerts, city festivals and exhibitions are held here, and there are cafés nearby. A walk in the park pairs well with a visit to the Palace of Culture. From here, Svobody Boulevard leads to the history museum and Bohdan's Kurgan.
