Про локацію
The memorial sign to the victims of the 1932–1933 Holodomor stands in Glory Park. It was erected for the 70th anniversary of the tragedy. This restrained granite stele bears the dates, a cross and ears of wheat, recalling the people of the surrounding villages who died in the man-made famine. On the register of local historical monuments it is listed as a monument to fellow villagers. Every November, on the Holodomor Remembrance Day, residents come here to light candles and lay ears of wheat and flowers. The sign is in a quiet corner of the park near the WWII memorial and the Palace of Culture, so it is easy to visit on a walk through the city centre.
