Про локацію
The Zhovti Vody Historical Museum opened in 1985 thanks to local historians and the veteran Yukhym Pryhozhyn, who donated his clock collection to the city. In 1990 it received the title of people's museum. Today its ten halls in a two-storey neoclassical building on Svobody Boulevard hold more than 9,000 exhibits. The first hall covers the 1648 Battle of Zhovti Vody, with Cossack weapons, a model of a Cossack chaika boat and battle paintings. Later halls show 19th-century village life, the history of the iron-ore mines with models of headframes and miners' work clothes, the Second World War and a recreated 1950s flat. Upstairs are 19th–20th-century clocks, minerals, coins and landscapes by local painter Yaroslav Myloserdnyi. Outside the entrance stand a ZiS-3 field gun and a mine loader.
