The memorial complex in Glory Park honours the residents of Zhovti Vody who died in the Second World War and the soldiers who fell liberating the settlement of Zhovta Rika on 20 October 1943. The ensemble includes a tall obelisk, steles with a relief of a grieving woman and inscriptions, the Eternal Flame and a row of mass graves with name plaques. It stands among old trees opposite School No. 5 and is listed as a local historical monument. On remembrance days people lay flowers here to honour the fallen. At other times it is a quiet place for an unhurried walk and reflection. The Holodomor memorial sign and the Palace of Culture are nearby.
