Zhovti Vody Centre on Foot: Cossack Glory and Remembrance

An unhurried walking route through the historic centre of Zhovti Vody. Start with coffee and cake at Tort i Kava, then head to the monument of three horsemen honouring the heroes of the 1648–1654 Liberation War. Next come the avenues of Glory Park, the Holodomor memorial sign and the memorial with the Eternal Flame. After that, see the neoclassical Palace of Culture on Myru Square and take a break at Rafinad café. Follow Svobody Boulevard to the Pryhozhyn Historical Museum, which tells the story of the Battle of Zhovti Vody, and to Bohdan's Kurgan with its bas-relief. The walk ends at the unusual GAZ-AA truck monument.
