Про локацію
Samar's central city park stretches along the bank of the Samara River and remains residents' favourite place for a stroll. It was laid out after the Second World War and named after Colonel Oleksandr Suchkov, commander of the 195th Rifle Division that liberated the town in 1943; a memorial stele with his bas-relief stands at the entrance. The park has rides and children's entertainment, cafes, a children's pool, a beach volleyball court and the town beach known as "Zhabenia". The embankment with its benches leads to the famous Humpback Bridge, which offers views of the river and the oak forest on the opposite bank. Photo spots include the Elephant fountain, wooden duck houses on the water and the Alley of Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian War. The park is at its most picturesque in autumn, when the banks of the Samara turn gold.
