A large palace of culture on Palanochna Street next to Suchkov Park, it is Samar's main concert venue. It began as the metalworkers' club of the local pipe plant and is now the municipal institution "Metalurh Palace of Culture" of Samar City Council. After privatisation attempts in 2020 the community defended the palace and it kept its purpose. It hosts concerts, plays, touring artists, town festivals, performances by local creative groups and charity events, and the Khalabuda youth centre operates on the third floor. The event programme and news are posted on the palace's Instagram page, and tickets for touring concerts are sold through online services.
