Volochysk Historical and Ethnographic Museum

The community's main museum has operated since 1979 and occupies a single-storey building from 1897 on Muzeina Street. Its seven halls present the history of the border town of Volochysk on the Zbruch, the everyday life and traditions of the surrounding villages, folk costume and crafts; one hall is reserved for lectures and temporary exhibitions. A separate display is dedicated to the current Russian-Ukrainian war and local defenders. The museum runs tours for school groups, themed meetings, competitions and travelling exhibitions in the community's villages. Free internet access is available to visitors. A memorial square is right next door, so a visit combines easily with a walk around the town centre.
