Про локацію
The memorial complex in the centre of Volochysk combines a mass grave of soldiers who fell in the Second World War with a memorial sign honouring local servicemen. It was unveiled in 1975 and has been a historical monument of local significance since 1983. The complex is set in a well-kept square with paths, flowerbeds and trees next to the historical and ethnographic museum. Community commemorations are held here, and people come to honour the fallen. It is worth a visit during a walk around the town centre together with the museum, to better understand the price border Volochysk paid in the wars of the 20th century.
