Botanical Garden of Khmelnytskyi National University

The Botanical Garden of Khmelnytskyi National University lies at 11 Instytutska Street on the university campus in the south-western part of the city. It began to be created in the early 2000s as part of a programme to landscape the university grounds, with advice from specialists of the Ukrainian National Forestry University. The garden covers 6.86 hectares in total, of which 2.21 hectares have been protected by law since 2009 as a local botanical garden within the region's nature reserve fund. It holds collections of flowers, trees and shrubs and landscaped compositions, attracting both students and anyone who enjoys a quiet walk among plants.
