Про локацію
Mykhailo Chekman Park is the largest and best-loved park in Khmelnytskyi, located on the right bank of the Southern Bug by the city reservoir. The first trees were planted here in 1947–1948, and from 1949 thousands of townspeople spent their weekends digging the pond and landscaping the grounds by hand. In 1993 the park was listed as a local landmark of landscape art, and in 2008 it was named after Mykhailo Chekman. It has more than 30 species of trees and shrubs, a network of canals, a sculpture alley, a summer theatre, a bandstand, rides and a Ferris wheel, sports grounds and playgrounds, and a mini zoo. The bank offers a view of the Island of Love.
