The Dominican Church of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and St. Stanislaus is an active Roman Catholic church in Chortkiv. The Dominicans arrived in 1610 on a privilege from Stanisław Hołski, and the first stone church and monastery were built in 1728-1731 with support from the Potocki family. In the late 19th century the old church could no longer hold the parishioners, so it was dismantled and a larger one was built to a design by a Kraków architect. The monastery, founded in 1640, is a local architectural monument; in Soviet times it served as a warehouse and a garment factory, and it has now returned to the order. A fine place to get acquainted with the town's multicultural heritage.
