Про локацію
The masonry watermill of the 18th century in Sichyntsi is a rare monument of the economic history of the Dunaivtsi area. It was built in the late 18th century, when the Dunaivtsi estate, which included the village, belonged to the Krasiński family, who actively invited foreign, mostly German, colonists to develop the local economy. In the 19th century Sichyntsi had four mills and several cloth workshops, but only this stone mill near Richkova Street has survived. It no longer operates, yet its massive walls against the backdrop of the river valley make an atmospheric photo location. The building is listed as an architectural monument. Sichyntsi lies right next to Dunaivtsi, so the mill is easy to visit during a walk around the outskirts of the town.
