Про локацію
The largest forest reserve of the community: 676 hectares of oak woods south of Rakhnivka, between the villages of Blyshchanivka, Huta-Blyshchanivska and Kryvchyk, in the Ternava basin. It was declared protected in 1990 to preserve highly productive oak stands mixed with birch, hornbeam, ash, pine and spruce. The forest is also valuable for trees rare in the region: wild service tree and European beech occur here. In early spring anemones, corydalis, toothworts and gagea bloom under the trees, and in summer the dense canopy keeps it cool. The reserve is managed by the Dunaivtsi forestry unit. The community's '20 Kilometres of Endurance, Impressions and Drive' route (Rakhnivka — Kryvchyk) runs nearby, so a forest walk combines well with a look at the Korff manor and a climb up the Hrabyna hill.
