Про локацію
The Holy Trinity Church in the village of Cherepova is a wooden church built in 1880 to replace an older wooden church; on the site of the earlier building a brick memorial in the form of an altar topped with an iron cross was set up. The church is listed as a local architectural monument. Wooden churches like this were once common in Podillia villages, but few have survived to our time, so the church in Cherepova is a valuable example of the region's vernacular sacred architecture. Cherepova lies in the north-west of the Khmelnytskyi community, not far from the city, so a trip here is a good chance to combine a visit to a 19th-century wooden church with a walk through the rural landscapes of Podillia.
