Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Volochysk

The Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity stands on the town's main street, Nezalezhnosti Street, and is home to the Catholic parish of Volochysk, whose history goes back to the 19th century: parish registers of the Volochysk church from the 1860s survive in the regional archive. For a border town on the Zbruch, where Ukrainians, Poles and Jews long lived side by side, the church is an important reminder of its multi-confessional past. The church stands in the eastern part of town and makes a pleasant stop on a walk along Nezalezhnosti Street. Visitors should observe the rules of conduct in a place of worship and not disturb services.
