Про локацію
Near the village of Sokilets the Ushytsia river cuts a picturesque canyon with steep rocky banks, one of the most striking natural landscapes in the community. On the right bank lies the geological natural monument 'Sokilets section of the Kanyliv series of the Upper Precambrian': the outcrop reveals ancient sedimentary layers hundreds of millions of years old. Sokilets sits where the Ushytsia flows into a bay of the Dniester reservoir. A footbridge crosses the river in the village, and nearby is the holy spring 'Tomasheva Krynychka' with a bathing font and gazebos, which residents landscaped through the participatory budget. The canyon is part of the community's 'Return to the Origins' route (Holozubyntsi — Lysets — Sokilets), so it combines easily with Burbun Waterfall.
