Ivanivskyi Hydrological Reserve

A hydrological reserve of local significance covering 51 hectares between the villages of Balkivtsi and Ivanivtsi, established in 2007. It protects a wetland complex of marshes and meadows in the floodplain of the Hrabarka River, which forms a series of pools and reed beds here. The reserve is a nesting site for waterfowl, and many medicinal plants grow in its meadows. Being close to Volochysk, it is convenient for a short walk or bike ride, with open views of reeds and willows along the floodplain. It is most interesting in spring and early summer, when birds are active and the meadows are in bloom.
