Tereblya River in Kolochava

The mountain river Tereblya, which flows through Kolochava, is the natural axis of the village. Paths run along its banks and pedestrian footbridges cross the stream, offering views of the forested slopes of the valley. The river feeds local trout farms and historically carried timber rafting, recalled by the Kolochava Bokorash museum. In summer it is pleasant to cool off by the water, and in spring and autumn the river is especially picturesque against the mountains. It is a convenient starting point for walks to the Kolochava spring and climbs to the surrounding meadows. Swim only in safe spots, as the current can be fast.
