In late August, ahead of the Day of Remembrance of Ukraine's Defenders, Dunaivtsi community joins the nationwide patriotic run 'Honour the Warriors, Run for the Heroes of Ukraine'. In 2025 participants started on 30 August at 10:00 from Lyceum No. 3 and ran to the Memorial of Glory. In 2026 the run took place on 29 August along the town's main street. Who finishes first does not matter: runners wear the names of fallen heroes on their T-shirts, and the heroes' families, young people and residents run side by side. After the run, a memorial gathering with a minute of silence is held at the Memorial of Glory. Anyone can take part.
