Інформація
Про локацію
A museum that recreates the atmosphere of a rural school in interwar Czechoslovakia, when Transcarpathia was part of the republic. A classroom with desks, teaching aids and school supplies of the time helps visitors imagine how children were taught in the 1920s–1930s. Kolochava has a special bond with the Czech Republic: the writer Ivan Olbracht visited, and the village is still popular with Czech tourists. The museum stands on Shevchenka Street next to the Soviet school museum, so both exhibitions are easy to see together and compare the eras.
