Khmelnytskyi gets an AI-powered digital tour guide
Khmelnytskyi AI Guide has launched on Telegram - a bot that suggests what to see, where to eat, where to go with children and where to stay overnight in the city.
At the end of September 2026 Khmelnytskyi community presented its own digital tourist assistant, Khmelnytskyi AI Guide. The service works as a Telegram bot and is designed to help both residents and visitors quickly find their way around tourist sites, venues, excursions and leisure options.
You can ask the bot everyday questions: which museums are worth visiting, where to have coffee in the centre, where to go with children, where to stay overnight or how to spend an interesting day in Khmelnytskyi. In reply it suggests specific places with addresses and useful links, and briefly describes the city's sights.
The assistant can be used in two ways - by choosing ready-made menu sections or by typing a free-form request such as 'What to see in Khmelnytskyi?'. Answers are generated by artificial intelligence based on a specially compiled database of tourist information about the city.
The city council says the database will be constantly expanded and updated so that the digital guide knows as much about Khmelnytskyi as possible. For tourists it is a convenient way to plan a route straight from a smartphone without searching across different websites.
